Welcome to my practice!

I specialize in treating anxiety and mood disorders, addressing parenting challenges, mitigating school-related stress, and guiding individuals through pre-, ongoing, and post-college adjustment periods.  Conditions that I commonly treat include: social anxiety, generalized anxiety (GAD), separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, specific phobias (e.g., dogs, needles, vomiting), and depression. Drawing from a diverse toolkit of therapeutic approaches, I tailor my methods to suit your unique needs. This encompasses the utilization of traditional cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT), including cognitive restructuring, exposure therapy, contingency management, and behavioral planning. It also integrates innovative "third wave" strategies like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, compassion-focused imagery, and emotional regulation strategies.

Additionally, I possess advanced expertise in brain-gut behavioral therapy, a specialized approach aimed at gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and pain management. My approach includes the latest breakthroughs in psychological science to empower you in effectively managing conditions like anxiety, IBS, chronic pain, and other persistent health challenges. Embark on a journey toward enhanced well-being, supported by evidence-based practices and personalized attention. I invite you to join me in exploring transformative strategies for lasting positive change.
